Will log into Eduphoria and see a list of ELA and Science teachers that have shared their lesson plans with me.
Beginning of the week I will check ELA and Science teachers’ lesson plans and record how many teachers have planned to use eInstruction in the same week.

  1. What is eInstruction? I am assuming based on your plan that its for short assessments. Could you possibly show ELA and Science teachers results from other teachers who have used them?

  2. As a science teacher, I look forward to seeing more of your project. As Leslie states, I too am wondering what the eInstruction was as well. What grade(s) will you be working with on this project? Good luck.. sounds interesting!

  3. eInstruction is a student response system in education with the creation of a handheld "clicker" system called CPS™ (Classroom Performance System™). eInstruction technology gives teachers the ability to instantly capture, grade, report and analyze student performance data. Most teachers use it for short informal assessments. Leslie, that is an idea that I used to do more frequently and I need to go back to that practice. Teachers are more driven to implement something if there is proof of other teacher success. Hayley, I'm looking at working with 9th and 10th grade students since those are the EOC/STAAR tested grades.

  4. This is an interesting action research project. I didn't know this kind of technology existed for teachers. This would benefit me in so many ways-it's kind of like an instant journal. I don't know how many times I have tried to journal about my classroom only to lose the journal or run out of time to do it. A tool like this is great because it is instantaneous, and you wouldn't have to remember exactly what took place several hours later.

  6. Your action research sounds like a great idea. I hope the teachers get on board and do their part. I know we also utoilize Eduphoria in my school district and it provides much needed information that has proven very useful.

    Good Luck

    Please post on my blog

  7. Hello, I really like your research action plan and the only suggestion I would make would be that in order to get everyonoe on board, you will need to utilize one the strategies in "Examining what we do to improve schools". I think the Force field analysis or Delphi Method will especially helpful.
